Mother's Day

Dir. Nico Raineau

Short Film

Mara, a hapless twenty something, wakes up after yet another one night stand with a killer headache and no memory of having agreed to babysit her hook-up's 6-year-old son for the day. Late for her job and with no understanding of childcare, Mara stumbles through her day with the kid in tow, coming to terms with both her shortcomings and surprising facility while learning to finally take some responsibility for once. - Film Festival Official Selections - St. Tropez International Film Festival (Nominee: Best Short Film, Special Jury Award), 2015 Soho International Film Festival (Nominee: Best Short Film), 2015 Greenwich International Film Festival, 2015 Bluestocking Film Festival, 2015 San Antonio Film Festival, 2015 Atlanta Shortsfest, 2015 International Filmmaker Festival of World Cinema London, 2016 SAG-AFTRA Short Film Showcase, 2016 HollyShorts Monthly Screenings, 2016 New Filmmakers Los Angeles, 2016 IMDb: imdb.com/title/tt3355244/ Directed By Nico Raineau Written By Nico Raineau & Lauren Schacher Produced By Gregory Hutchinson & Kristen Murtha Lauren Schacher as Mara Robert Carbo as Brandon Berlin Gremillion as Violet Peter Welkin as Rob and Kathryn Gordon as Mrs. Goldman Contact: NicoRaineau.com
